FYI, I’m a serious video game junkie. Shadowman will always be my hands down favorite while Hitman places a close second.
Do you know why I hit the gym regularly? Aside from aesthetic and health reasons? Because it keeps me from smoking pot and gaming 24/7. For real. I used to take my home line off the hook, shut off the cell, and stay up from 8 p.m. ’til 5 a.m. and watch the sun come up while nibbling from the same bowl of kimchee and rice for nine straight hours. It got to the point where I had heroin chic circles under my eyes and all my orifices reeked of rotten cabbage and everyone thought I had assumed a new identity and left town or expired under mysterious circumstances. Talk about a huge damper on one’s social life.
More Targeted For The “Hit Man”
Olga Kurylenko (“Paris je t’aime”), Robert Knepper (“Prison Break”), Ulrich Thomsen (“Festen”) and Michael Offei (“Casino Royale”) have joined the cast of 20th Century Fox’s film adaptation of hit video game “Hit Man”.
Timonthy Olyphant will play Agent 47, a hitman who ends up being chased himself by Interpol and the Russian military. Dougray Scott plays the villain of the piece.
Xavier Gens begins helming the thriller this week in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia reports Variety. Locations in South Africa, Istanbul, St. Petersburg and London will also be used.
Luc Besson, Chuck Gordon, Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter are producing.

I remember when video games came out big time in the 80’s. I just couldn’t figure out why, overnight, why half of my friends didn’t want to go outside anymore. We used to play sports, see who can take apart their bikes and reassemble them faster, go exploring, climb tress and things like that. Then, just like that, half of them were glued to the TV trying to break a high score. I never understood why.
Oh and “underachiever”? Once again, you say something that makes me wonder as to whether or not we’ve dated before. HA!

Hey, if it makes you feel any better, I’m a total underachiever. I just started my own business and I AM SITTING HERE BLOGGING and reading BLOGS and surfing the net. This will leave me broke in no time.
Yeah, video games have made people anti social and complacent but at least they’ve got good manual dexterity. That’s got to count for something.
Ok, I just clicked on the link. That has got to be the most boring video game I’ve ever seen. No wonder you refuse to venture further – you were ruined.

Um, that whole thing about mastering Pong was a joke. NO ONE CAN MASTER PONG! Once again, I’m kidding…or am? (I hope the italics worked)
Oh, and I was kidding about being an underachiever as well. I guess I’m just in one of those “make jokes that nobody will get because they really aren’t that funny to start off with” moods.
