The house in the South my father grew up in.

  1. Ooh la la. All you need is a dark night sky and storm clouds and maybe a lone lightsglowing behind silhouettes in a window.

  2. looks haunted.

  3. That’s an uncharitable shot. Taken in good light, this would have been a fine Tudor reproduction set in a comfortable Southern environ.

Wait! I just used photo-editing software to magnify the street sign hung off the lightpost! I think I’ve made it out! It says…”Warning - bitch lives here with my dad.” http://eatmyfuckingstilettos.wordpress.com/2008/05/04/is-it-wrong-to-hate-a-parent/

  4. It actually doesn’t explain much. Except maybe that you didn’t grow up in the ‘hood…

Makes me want to know more.

  5. “Warning - bitch lives here with my dad.”
You are talking about my mother. Right? Right?

Necro, I would have to spin it to make it much more intriguing than portrayed by this picture. Truth is, it was quite quaint and unassuming on the inside. Just a regular house with regular people. No Southern Gothic ghost tales. As hard as I tried, I couldn’t find any. And trust me - I looked.

It was a disappointment, to say the least.

  6. Of course I meant your mother. So much for trying to be clever. I obfuscated the confusion even more.
